** On a side note, I have a theory as to why so much furniture on New Orleans' Craigslist is crap - Katrina - since so many homes got flooded and most contents ruined, it is now harder to find older amazing and interesting peices. But it's always fun when you find a score!
I found this rocking chair Sunday night but unfortunately it was sold before I could get my hands on it:

It retails at almost $1,300!
It appears to be the same exact chair but I am sure it's a replica. But still!! GREAT find! Lucky Lucky whoever beat me to it... Grrrr...

Ahhh! That sucks! We got a knock-off for the nursery for $35! It has an upholstered back and seat that we are recovering in new fabric, but I wish the wood was more like the one you pictured. Keep looking...there are always tons on C-list in Houston.
