Only in New Orleans...

A couple of weekends ago we happened upon a  Second Line in my mom & dad's  neighborhood - the Treme. It's really only less than a mile from our house. We were on our bikes and I could just tell a second line was about to come so I made my husband wait to see... and we were in for some cultcha dawlin'!

There were probably close to a thousand people out there! It's moments like this that I realize what a special and unique city I live in. Events like this aren't for tourists or movie crews, it's for the locals who celebrate life and know how to have a good time!
