Pantone announced the 2012 Color of the Year, it's Honeysuckle (which in my world is pretty darn close to hot pink!) Unfortunately it seems whenever Pantone announces it's color of the year, it either is or very shortly will become the uber trendy color of the year. Are you surprised turqouise was color of the year for 2011?!
I love using the color sparingly... like some throw pillows or a seat cushion.
I just hope we don't look back to these turquoise and pink years like we do with avacado green and harvest gold from the 70's! I know we will though - so don't upholster any big ticket items in them!

Yes but honeysuckle was white in Mississippi. And I used to suck out all that sweet jUice of the "flower?"
do not paint those doors pink. Leave em black!!
I'm pretty sure that's a picture of my kitchen, pre-renovation...
